As an aside, "K-mount interchangeable" is redundant.
True, Pentax do define the acronym, but I suspect if I asked 100
photographers whether a K-5 was an ILC, 99 would say "no", so I'm
wondering what the hell Pentax are doing. I know you see nothing wrong
with the above text, but to me (and dare I say it, anyone familiar
with mirrorless cameras) it looks like either Pentax don't know what
they're talking about, or that the lens isn't compatible with DSLRs.
Having read too much about this frickin lens already, I think it's the
former--the lens will work with any K-mount digital camera. Hooray!
I'm going out to buy one right away.
