Bob,
I managed to catch it in flight in between dives just fine but even
though I was aboard a boat it was too far away for my humble 250 mm.
Also, the pictures are all terribly soft, even with the bird dead
center in the sweet spot and stopped down to f/8 so I am not sure if
they were OOF or if the lens needs TLC. I'll have to find a way to
stake it out so my biggest question is do they return to the same spot
every once in a while like dragonflies or do they just randomly scoot
about?
