Yeah, you are of course referring to the famous Karsh photo. Great story (and portrait!) for those of you who don't know it:

This photo vaulted him to international prominence as he photographed many political and entertainment elites. However during his entire career he maintained his storefront portrait studio in Ottawa and his prices for walk-ins were most reasonable; the same as any other run-of-the-mill studio in fact.
