300/4 (6x7) and short extension tube

I believe it was Bruce Dayton who inquired in regard to framing with the
short extension tube and 300/4 lens. At minimum focus, I get tight head
and shoulders, just about perfect portrait framing. At infinity I get
about 4 feet of frame on the long side, about knees to head on a model.
