Welcome to the group! Every camera system has its advantages and disadvantages. Most of the members here have chosen to use Pentax gear, but most are also interested in and familiar with other camera systems. So the discussions are by knowledgable people, not people just making empty claims based on their brand enthusiasm. On the other hand, the discussions often go way off track!
