Hello Larry, just got the June issue of Better Photography magazine,
where there is an excellent review of the Olympus OM-D. The PLUS
points are: quick AF, good image quality from a small 17.3 x 13 mm
live MOS sensor, customisability.
MINUS point are: small buttons, price. Final Ratings are: Features -
13/15; Performance - 38/45; Build Quality - 14/15; Ergonomics - 17/20.
OVERALL RATING 85 %.
The Editor says that if you do not mind a slightly bigger size, then
the Nikon D7000 beats the Olympus hollow. It goes on to say further
that the cheaper Panasonic DMC- GX1 may be a better buy. People get
nostalgic at its circa 1984 SLR retro design, and may buy it on
impulse.
Going by the Overall Rating (85%) for Camera Tests in this Mag, I
would not buy it. Anything over 90% is OK.  I also noted that this
company (Olympus) was embroiled in a multi-million Dollar fraud
recently and it will tend to recoup the loss from us gullible
customers.
Regards. Bipin - from a far away enchanting land.
