Interesting blog entry. The other photos on the blog are really good in addition to the PESO.
Are they going to demolish the old bridge? (it sounds like it from your blog entry) If so, why? Couldn't they keep the old one and new one? Double the traffic capacity then. Unless the old one is just too expensive to maintain or requires repairs to the extent that it's just not feasible to keep up (kind of like Montreal's Champlain Bridge which is falling apart and is likely irreparable despite being less than 50 years old - I can remember when they opened it fer gawd's sake!).
