I just saw the following tweet from Magnum
"What's your favorite photo from the Magnum archive? Tweet @MagnumPhotos with the hashtag #MyFavPhoto." Inane and wrong on so many levels, not least of which is how do you choose a favourite from so many great photographers, so many genres, such a wide timespan? On top of it all they said "and here's an example" and linked to McCurry's Afgan Girl. Indeed a great picture, but a bit of a lead by the nose I think. I could go on, but I won't. Perhaps I've been taking too much of my grumpy old git medicine but it would be interesting to hear what you all think though....
