Yeah, the roadies are a different breed alright. And I thought bike messengers were a heavily tattooed bunch. These guys have more ink on them than the Sunday edition of the New York Times!
Almost all of the big shows have multiple semi-trailers based in Nashville, Tennessee. Must be the rigging/staging/lighting capital of the world down there. I always wonder how many roadies travel with the show and how many they pick up locally. Some of them wear helmets and full-body safety harnesses - I guess they're the ones high up in the rigging. Must be pretty dangerous stuff...
