I second RawDroid and Quick Pic - I installed them after Mark showed them to me in a pub in Greenwich (we were probably waiting for Cotty, but I digress) Also K9 mail is good - you can send mail to PDML from it as it doesn't insist on HTML like the stock Gmail app. And I use Dolphin browser rather than the standard one.
