good, so what about updating to the latest Safari version for your OS version?

(make sure your OS version is up to date also, latest 10.5 is 10.5.8)
you could also look at other plug-ins you might be using, or if you want to
test the theory that caching data has something to do with it, turn off caching
and database storage; database storage is under Prefs > Security, and caching
can be controlled by enabling the developer menu (in Prefs > Advanced) the from
the menu choosing Develop > Disable Caches
