^^^ DA 35mm is exceptionally sharp, but collapsible rubber hood has blocked focus ring from rotation during entire photo session. I was discombobulated and about to go to service when I tried manual focus and could hardly rotate it myself. Then I figured out that collapsed hood is blocking focus ring. There was nothing wrong with DA 35mm lens but I'm stepping ito the same bucket 2-nd time with this 49mm rubber hood.
