i think i'm the only one in Denver but i put the 15 August event at REI on my
calendar and could make it a sure thing if any Denver lurkers come forward
i went to a similar event at REI last year — Pentax was featured with lots of
outdoor gear; it was an unsettling mixture of genuine outdoor adventure and
sales pitch, but they did a slide show of some nice mountain backpacking routes
shot with a K-5; i won a pair of socks, but not the Optio
the 22 September event is even closer to me, but 6:55 a.m., i dunno
