Colorspace is a parameter used in the chroma interpolation phase of the raw conversion process, on the way to an RGB channel file of whatever format.
What they're telling you is that they want the deliverables produced with Adobe RGB profile. Most people are confused about the camera settings when it comes to raw capture.
