That page misses one option (one that I only became aware of recently). Tamron also made an Adaptall2 *Extension Tube* specifically for the SP 90/2.5 that will get it to 1:1. The obvious benefit to the tube is that you don't lose the two stops of light that you would with the 01F teleconverter.
Which brings me to my For Sale Friday... I happened to pick up two of these Tamron Extention Tubes (1:2-1:1) recently and only need one. I'll sell it to any PDML'er for $49 plus actual shipping. I also have one of the 2x 01F adaptall2 teleconverters that I'd part with for $49 plus actual shipping and one of the harder to find 1.4x 140F adaptall2 teleconverters that I'd part with for $99 plus shipping. I also have a GORGEOUS Spotmatic II (I mean no wear, chips of the black paint ANYWHERE) with it's late model Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f1.4 (in equally minty condition). I'll sell the *SET* for $129 plus actual shipping. Its only apology is that it comes with a clip-on cap instead of the original Takumar cap. I can probably scare one up for an extra $12, if that is super important to you. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
