I posted a shot of a local red-necked grebe nest with a couple of eggs
(first time anyone remembers them laying more than one egg). As
mentioned, they've never managed to hatch one in the 7 years that
they've had a nest here so fingers are crossed.

Was shooting hand-held, so I'm pleased with the sharpness all things
considered. You should have seen the rejects.  ;-)
