We have so much in common :D I opted out of gym class at the earliest
opportunity.

Getting outside is a large part of why I exercise as well. I live about 2km
from some hills and it's the best place to go running or riding. That's
probably why I tend to get a little bored doing laps in the pool but it's not
too bad in there.

Just between you, me and the rest of the word, I bought a mag trainer last year
because I don't like riding in the rain. I can't see a damn thing with wet
glasses on, the roads are slipperier and the bike gets surprisingly dirty. But
I find it a lot harder to push a decent heart rate on the trainer. I just need
something to occupy my mind. Last time I set it up I put some Monty Python on,
which helped a bit.
