I think you'll enjoy the soup , whatever basic stock you use. It's
quite sweet so really doesn't need salt for flavor at all.
I've always got unslated shelled pistachios in the pantry - thanks to
Trader Joes :-)

carrots from our farm share; my partner is salt-averse (thought recent
health research is equivocal), and we make our own veggie stock, so this
will be of interest
poked around and thought the ambercup squash looked good too (both photo
and recipe; i am a pistachio fiend)
