Sheesh! What is it about Pentaxians and MGs? I've got a 1979 MGB

Moderately frightening .. I had an MGB too. 1965 model year. Frankly,
I hated it although it was nice to drive. When it ran.

In my lifetime, I've built three cars and four motorcycles from the
ground up. I think my junkie status is well assured at this point, and
I never intend to do it again. I bought the SLK specifically so I
don't have to ... It has everything I ever wanted in a car just as it
came from Mercedes.

But of course, I didn't buy it new so I have the joy of detailing it
out anyway. (I'm pretty much done now ... :-)

A long time ago in another lifetime (before I got married) I had the dubious pleasure of owning a 1938 Harley-Davidson. It was a ragged-ass collection of greasy worn out parts in several large cardboard cartons when I bought it, and it was a ragged-ass, greasy, worn out piece of oil leaking shit when I sold it.

Paid $400 for it, owned it 2 years, actually had it running for about 6 months. Sold it for $400 and was happy not to lose any money on the deal. Completely stock, because the only customization I could afford to do in those days was to buy a couple of cans of gold metal-flake & candy-apple red clear lacquer to paint the tank.

Should have kept the bike and ditched the girlfriend & future ex-wife.
