Yeah it sort made me come home and do some casual sharpness tests on the
lens I own now. Which made me look at reviews for the Pentax DA 70m 2.4
which seems perfect for people shots.

That may be true but i am constantly amazed at the IQ i see here with
Peso's etc using the 55-300.
