Unfortunately I didn't notice the crescent moon until it was a bit higher over 
the horizon than would have been ideal.  These were shot with my mf Tokina 
80-200/2.8, bench resting on a 4x4 post, from the hills above Redwood City (off 
Jefferson ave).  I suspect that the three red lights in some of the photos, 
across the bay are the KGO radio antennas.

Unfortunately, when I left the party at about 0230 I was too tired, and the sky 
wasn't looking promising enough for me to go home via skyline and spend an hour 
trying to catch meteors while using the astrotracer.
