Summer vacation & travels have kept me off the list for a while... did I miss anything? :) Thought I'd share a collection of shots that I took a couple of weeks ago in Spain. For the second year, we were visiting with friends who live outside of Barcelona... they participate in making Castells, or human towers. Which, near as I can tell, is a combination athletic contest, Catalan cultural event & performance art. It's really quite incredible to watch. (Especially for someone from the litigious US... I was inspired to teach my Spanish friends the English idiom "lawsuit waiting to happen"...) People from all walks of life participate, from young to old.
