I guess it's a matter of taste. I like it. Some. It's a unique vision of
a time & place that probably never really existed. Whether Vettriano's
work is worthy or not is beside the point.
Posters mass produced on web-fed offset presses are matted, framed &
sold as art, but individual photographs printed by the photographer's
own hands are "not art".
That's what she told me anyway.
