Thanks, Bob, Walt, Steven and Don! This one is about 9 inches (23 cm) across. There were others on this plant a bit larger, but they were damaged or a bit wilted. I took a few shots with a yardstick behind the bloom, for my information and records, but artistically those images suck. Last year the same plant produced blooms as large as 11 1/2 inches, but the plant was damaged by deer early in the season, and it has not yet rebounded to the height and stem thickness it had last season.
