A friend has an old 300d that stopped workin while sitting in her closet. It just says err 99 which seems to just be a WTF error. I tried charging batteries and cleaning lens contacts. I also tried powering up while holding down various buttons o. The back. Occasionally holding the jump button while powering up will get it to power up ok but would crap out when i wpould try to take a picture. Anybody have ideas? Or is she best just finding one on craigs list? I thought it might br a battery issue but all three batteries give the same problem.
