Thanks, John. I kind of agree wrt the rendering. It was a bright day but the 
four subjects closest to me were in the shade of a tree. The rendering you see 
here was a compromise at best. Not worth putting much more time into it at this 
point.

I like the composition & the expressions, but it's too high key for my 
taste. Makes the blond lady in the foreground look like Johnny Winter.

Side note: This is something of a record. While I try to look at all the 
PESOs & GESOs, I rarely feel compelled to comment. A photo has to really 
move me for me to offer a critique.

Two postings in one digest (Vol 76, Issue 163) with images that mean 
that much to me?
