Darren, I really do get your idea and accept your point. I do believe, however, that many will not want to search through frames so there will be a still mode as well. Of course, one second of many frames is effectively video once the burst speeds hit 30 fps. So, maybe your essentially video camera with a one second mode. Even automatic weapons have modes like this.
