No, this suit isn't about Google. This one goes back to the late seventies when the Apple II was being cloned by Asian manufacturers. They were fairly close to exact knock-offs although some added an extra key to the keyboard and maybe changed the startup ROM so that it didn't say "Apple ][" when booted. Apple spent a lot of time and money trying to shut them down and ever since has been very quick to defend what they see as "their stuff". I'm sure Samsung will learn their lesson and make their phones more distinctive. Apple will continue on with their small niche / big profit model until something comes out of left field to which they can't react.
