I always remembered it as hearing it as "one small step for man". There may
have been an audio dropout glitch on the "a" if he said that. There is a 
small controversy over what was said and happened.

Yeah, I've heard that as well.

I must have misheard him all those years ago, because I always thought 
he said "one small step for a man".
