Fabulous shot, Boris. You have two big trees, two benches, two
pedestrians, two long shadows running down the road and a great
background of the row of bikes with the front wheels just echoing one

ordinary scene. Superb!
Oh, now you make me seriously blush, Mark.
The white balance does not bother me though I don't see it as a critical
element in the image. It might be better with less blue, I don't know.
Tweaking the white balance won't change the core things that are
happening in this photo.
I tried to play with the white balance quite a bit. The issue here is
that as long as I try to preserve and emphasize the light on the
foreground, given the way the scene was captured (sensor and all) I am
rather limited in what I can do. I suppose that in PhotoShop or other
"full size" tool, with masking, layers etc, I could edit this image
pretty much to any taste. But I stick with LightRoom.
At the end, having read all the feedback from you, guys, I simply fell
back to the auto white balance of LR. This is what came out:

I think that in general terms of color this picture is more balanced.
However it is not how it was when I was shooting. Of course, it needn't
be 100% realistic, but I think that the original (just to remind you, it
is here:
http://pentax-ways.blogspot.com/2012/08/peso-2012-35-etude.html) is
closer to what I've been trying to say with this photo.
Thanks again!
