That is a damn shame. What struck me was this line from the piece:
"Ong has suggested he merely ''re-created'' the images and worked them
into his style, following a long and common practice in the art world
of using one image as the basis for another."
Really? Do lots of fine art photographers use stock images as the
inspiration for their "re-creations"?
