After 20 years off a bike, Judy finally has one! It's a Specialized Globe Carmel 02. Barely ridden, in perfect shape, we got it for a great price. It's the perfect bike for her. Nice and upright, big fat tires, Shimano internal three speed, coaster brake on the rear and hand brake on the front. She's thrilled with it. And I'm thrilled, too. Finally we can go bicycling together! There are so many bike trails along the Lake and through parks and along creeks for us to explore. And she's going to get a big old basket on the front so we can go shopping together. She feels that this will give her much more freedom to get around our area quickly and easily - walking's great but sometimes it just takes a long time. It's been a good day.
