any recommendations for a monitor? I'm running XP on a dell dimension
C521 - thank goodness i have a PC Richards credit card (only one I have)

Looking at what PC Richards appears to have available, either the HP
2311x or the AOC 2436VWH.
The HP is available for "in store pick up" and the AOC is eligible for
"free shipping".
Ha - I think the HP is the one I considered that was on display but not
in my store. There was a Samsung - also.
Thanks,
ann
I had never heard of PC Richards, but a google search led me to their
website. They only show 6 computer monitors there. I just suggested the
two best (IMHO) under $200 monitors from the selection they offered.
I second the suggestion to consider using a HDTV as a computer monitor,
but it doesn't look like they're manufacturing many 1080p sets smaller
than 40" now a days. The smaller ones all seem to top out at 720p.
I'm using a 32" Samsung HDTV as a monitor on the computer I just built
for Photoshop. I got it for the same price as a Samsung 24" computer
monitor that had a built in HDTV tuner.
