Malick likes to do dolly shots with the camera pointing up, moving
through a forest. That's what came to mind when I saw your photo.
Tree of Life (the recent one) is quite an ambitious movie and
mesmerising to watch, but I'm not sure it really works philosophically.
I like The Thin Red Line because it is the opposite of what a
star-packed war movie would be expected to me.
