I was experimenting with the astrotracer a bit more last night.  Mostly 
shooting without the darkfield noise reduction.

There's a lot to learn about getting the best performance out of it.  Some of 
the photos were surprisingly good at upwards of ISO 5000, where I'd just crank 
the ISO and hand hold the shutter in bulb for about 10 seconds just to check my 
framing.

The FA77 did surprisingly poorly, I didn't get any really good shots with it.

Japanese calligraphy when you don't know japanese, and you don't get to see 
what you've written is surprisingly difficult.
