I used my IIIc quite a bit and my IIIf, which is basically the same, was used extensively. Still use it from time to time. It's just a matter of getting accustomed to it. I even progressed to the point where I could load it while walking. A loud shutter on a Barnack Leica is a sign that a CLA and some lubricant is needed. They can be whisper quiet.
