The easiest way to find a light leak is to place a small light inside the mirror box and go into a darkened closet and look for light leaking out. This is can be accomplished by soldering small wires to a flashlight bulb, epoxying the bulb to the inside of a body cap, passing the wires to the outside through a small hole in the cap (light seal the hole with epoxy - I prefer J B Weld) and affixing the wires to a battery. Be sure that the bulb is small enough and placed properly so as not to hit the mirror (low in the mirror box). In most cases you can hold the mirror up with a trimmed toothpick, but I would prefer to just set the shutter to it's longest aperture and snap.
Just a suggestion. The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that 'if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." - Samuel Adams, 1771 From: "William Robb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > From: David Brooks > Subject: Re: Re: Flare or leak-Pictures are up > > > Hi Bill. Its from a Spotmatic NOT the Super P,if > > that is what you mean. The Super P is working > > fine. > > Good to hear about the SP.
