The near-end softness is definitely noticeable, but it's still a nice shot. I _really_ like the colours. That works quite well. The bench seen like this makes me think of pi.
I think the composition might be slightly improved by placing the bench on the right. The lit side makes me think of its "face". Maybe it's just me. (Comp is still mostly a mystery to me, sadly.)
