Well done image, George! Here in northern California, we're "enjoying" multiple days of 100F heat. May, mercifully, drop to fall temps (84 ish) by this coming weekend. I miss Iowa this and every fall.

I though I'd take a trip to a nearby park to see if I could catch a little Fall color. That's what I found. very little fall color. Only a few trees had started to turn. The weather was nice and it was a pleasant way to spend an hour or so. This is the same trip where I got the shot of the Heron that was identified by the PDML bird experts.
