Nice work if you can get it. A couple of suggestions. On the hard side lighting expose a bit more for the highlights, the NPC should hold shadow detail, though you might want to load a second body with a roll of NPS. Also, get an assistant in closer with the reflector to bounce more light back into the shadows. You may want to pick up a 4x8 piece of styrofoam insulation as a larger reflector. Watch out for splotchy lighting, #10 in particular the lighting was somewhat distracting. Accessories.. #13 and 14 would have been helped with sunglasses or a wide brimmed hat. The squinting detracts from her pretty face. Makeup. She looks like a fresh faced beauty, but could (IMHO) use a little lipstick, possibly in an earthy color, and blush. It should be a little heavy handed as the camera minimizes it a bit. Also, try getting in a little closer or using a longer lens. I used to like doing candid portraits with my 200mm. Remember it is usually better to crop in the camera, just not too tight. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
