Several Humpback Whales in the final stage of 'bubble netting'. While one whale encircles a school of herring, another drives the herring to the surface. What I've captured is the surfacing of the whales and the engorging of the herring. Taken off Chichagof Island in southeast Alaska. K20D, 300, f4.5 FA 400ISO. Comments appreciated.
