How about this...

Click "Export"
Click "For Email (Hard Drive) under Lightroom Presets
Scroll down to Watermarking
Tick the Watermark box and set up your copyright watermark

Thanks Christine. I don't send the file via email, but use the "email
file to hard drive" and then save them into my peso and geso folder.
It does not give mae any options when i click on this link, it just
goes and saves the web size files to the folder. If i can figure out
how to watermark them using that option i'll be fine

Since I've never sent an email from Lightroom, I had to test it just now.
So--

1) Click file>email photo
2) fill out the send information in the dialogue box that pops up
3) then I believe you click done
4) then your email will open
5) scroll down and it gives you options for watermarking, and you have the same
options as when exporting to disk and web gallery etc.

I just sent myself an emailed photo and the copyright watermark appeared.

I had to look up email photo in lightroom from the help menu to learn how this
works.

Hope that helps. Cheers, Christine

Hi Dave:

1) Click export
2) scroll down and tick the watermark box
3) then tick the watermark drop down menu
4) click edit watermark so you can customize your copyright watermark if you
wish to
5) save as a preset
6) now it's ready to be used again
7) you can create as many copyright watermarks as you want.
I have some that are in different sizes, fonts etc.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Christine

I set up a watermark in my LR4, as a preset. I have read the help on
the internet and states that it can be viewd and used as a preset,
look for it on the left side under user presets. I don't see it at
all.It gives me the option to use it when trying out the web page
maker, is this the only place it can be used. I want to add my
copyright to single photos posted on the net but cannot seem to see
how to do it when in develop mode
