They make new ones! They just don't import them to the US. But you can
buy them even in Mexico. Of course, they are front-engined and not
forward control, and you won't be able to fix the engine with duct
tape and bail wire, but hey. You could probably make a really nice
reliable camper from a turbo diesel VW T5.

If you guys think the Pentax world is full of obsessive geeks, take a
look at the world of VW buses... Crazy (but in a good way) :)
