I'm going to look at the magazine to see if it was just someone's editorial mistake... Since it was a Time contest, I may have "allowed"
future use for ads - but this actually ahd someone elses name.

I want to see if it was one of the other contest winners whose photo
appeared near mine in the ad section.

At the VERY least I want the credti - I have sold the photo since and
other photos of her taken the same day. It isn't on my website - so it wasn't an internet steal.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to call the paper.

Call the photo desk editor. The switchboard should be able to hook you up. I
suspect they'll pay you. If it was the Times, it would be $150. I suspect the
News pays at a similar rate.

I just got this email...

"Hi Ann,
It's David Siegel the husband of Andrea Siegel, a Scrabble player you may
remember from 30+ years ago. In Friday's Daily News there is a picture that you
took about 30 years ago of our daughter Caryn that appeared in Time magazine,
as I'm sure you recall. The name credited is not yours.
Thought you might be interested.
Hope all is well.
Dave"

Anyone have Friday's NY Daily news??

Anyone know anyone on the city desk?

The photo was one I won honorable mention for in a Time mag contest about the
spirit of competition - George Plimpton was the judge.
It was in a special advertising section of TIme mag that was only sent to
subscribers.

who shall I call at the News?
