Great to hear from you. Bad luck about the eye, but it could have been worse
I guess. New York has been through a lot over the years - more than most US
cities, I reckon - and the people seem to develop a blitz spirit. The
character of the people gives the city its character, and it's this kind of
experience that makes people and places interesting.
