A few days ago we received the first rain of the season. The feel and smell of the crisp freshly washed air just had to be photographed. Am linking a modest attempt to do that. It's of the tallest peak ( 2300'+) of our local tiny Sutter Buttes Mt range. To support the incessant "Golden California" theme, I gave the dry grass a nudge of yellow.
