Thanks again, Bruce.
I was actually panning with the more distant horse when the nearest one
decided to bolt. It was the motion blur of the near horse contrasted
against the stopped action of the far horse that initially got my
attention and made me decide to see if I could rescue it from its
colors. (Aside from the blandness, I'm not crazy about the slapdash
presence of green here and there in the color version.)
And, once I discovered that the filtered b/w helped to obscure the
barbed wire, getting rid of it was a piece of cake. :)

Still works for me, Walt, especially the toned image. (You did a great
job with removing the strand of barbed wire, btw.)
Sure it's the further horse that's sharp rather than the closer, but
no big deal IMHO.

Ah, well -- waddayagonnado?
I thought the horse on the left side of the frame was reasonably sharp --
especially given the shutter speed.
Maybe not so much. :-/

So you changed a strawberry roan in to a dapple gray did ya?
I like the positioning of the horses... but there needs to be stuff in the
frame that is sharp if the bolting horse is blurry, I think.
Almost works but not quite

If you insist. :)
I converted it to a filtered b/w because the original colors were bland
and it helped to obscure the barbed wire fence running across the frame,
making it much easier to edit out.
