That's one way to put it. More specifically,
I'm thinking that camera bodies need to be changed less often (in my
specific case) and not be tightly coupled to a specific manufacturer.
To that end no DSLR system satisfies the above condition. Hence I am
moving to Leica M-mount (very few, very select prime lenses, likely
Cosina and/or Voigtlander) with Ricoh GXR modular system being my camera
body of choice.
I am going to keep very minimal Pentax system: K-5, Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5
(to be bought), Sigma 24-60/2.8 for backup and Metz AF 48-1 flash (on
its way) with very few Pentax primes that hold emotional value for me,
such as A 50/1.2 or FA 77/1.8.
