Since you have already replaced it, it would be interesting to see a side by 
side test of it, and the new one.

I have very mixed feelings about my 20/1.8.  The manual focus on it often, but 
not always feels utterly horrible.  
Autofocus on it is mixed, sometimes it works, sometimes not.  I got it for 
indoor low light shooting, and it is almost totally useless for that, though it 
would be interesting to see how the K5-II handles focusing it in low light.

However, when it is the right lens, it does wonderfully.  It is also nice to 
have a wide macroish lens.
