Talk of photography and movies reminds me of a movie I saw a couple of weeks ago: "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" (2004). It's a look at the life of a documentary filmmaker/adventurer comedically modelled on Jacques Cousteau. This contained a very wry running gag that involves the cameraman calmly discussing camera angles, aperture and other technical details with Zissou (Bill Murray) and other crew members even during stressful moments involving accidents to various crew. If you like Wes Anderson's style, I think this is one of his best and highly recommend it.
